This is so true. So many of us think we're the only ones that are broken. But everyone is.

We do our best for our kids. It's painful, but some things seem to be beyond our control. No matter how good a job we did as parents or how hard we tried, things happen to our kids. We beat ourselves up over it. But so often, there's nothing we could have done to create a better outcome.

And so often, they come through the crisis, stronger for it. But when you're in the middle of it, that feels impossible.
