This is a *superb* piece of work. And I am extraordinarily grateful to you Natasha for including me in it and for your kind words about me. It is always a pleasure to publish your work in Brain Labs because you have such an intuitive understanding of why I created the pub!

I think what distinguishes short-form social media platforms like FB/Twitter/Insta/TikTok from long-form social media platforms like Medium and Substack is that the former encourage mindless blather. There is certainly a lot of similar mindless blather on long-form platforms, but there are plenty of writers who think and create and express, and it's *extremely* stimulating.

None of these tools are connections, as I see it anyway. They're all conduits we can use to create connections. And I think it's much harder to do that on the short-form platforms.
