It's not odd at all. Maybe you think it's odd. I don't. You have a point of view. I have a point of view. You have made arguments. I don't find them compelling.

Outside of math, language is subjective. I'm obviously not going to convince you, and I can tell you with assurance that you are not going to convince me.

Climate change has nothing to do with normal. Our climate has varied significantly over 4.5 billion years. There is no normal climate. The issue with climate is wholly unrelated to normal. The issue is what is habitable.
